Sarah Kaye - Director
Sarah graduated in Spatial design in 1998, but decided to put her career on hold and spent the next six years working in the family livestock business. With her desire to engage back into the construction industry, Sarah joined a UK based specialist contracting business in 2004 and her responsibilities included strategic planning, business development, marketing, partnership collaboration and management, which led to the development and involvement with London Olympic Velodrome, Manchester Metropolitan University – Business School and the innovative office development - White Collar Factory, London.
Following the acquisition of the business in 2009 by an international manufacturing PLC, Sarah moved to a new role in the business, based in Hamburg, as International Project Business Manager. During this time, Sarah developed a broad international understanding of client needs, construction practices, market drivers and international trends. Sarah’s engagement with international design teams and close collaboration with the in house engineering team, led to Sarah developing opportunities with EXPO 2017, Kazakhstan and Institut Mines Telecom, Paris, a French public institution dedicated to higher education and research..
Sarah’s project management experience was shared with colleagues in local business units, visiting China, Nordics, South West Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Europe. Sarah was also part of a European marketing team to help further enhance and develop the brand identity internationally.
Sarah has a particular interest in understanding and identifying how future trends like climate change, population growth and digital technologies will affect construction trends and techniques in the future.
During 2015, Sarah was also involved with the World Green Building Council campaign – Better Places for People. This campaign aims to accelerate the growth of healthy buildings globally by raising the awareness of how buildings impact our health and wellbeing. Sarah is currently working towards the WELL AP accreditation to support the new WELL Certification process for buildings.
